Jordan Devlin had his finisher named this week, which was another small detail added to what should be a bigger overall presentation of potential breakout star Jordan Devlin.

This contest unfortunately followed the format of several misunderstood squash matches on the brand thus far. Kenny Williams' six-out-of-ten aerial game got more shine than anything other than Devlin's 'Ireland's Call' finisher, but it wasn't so great that the match itself would linger long in the memory.

There are two persistent major problems with NXT UK - lousy character development and poorly-structured squash matches. This fell victim to both.
