6 Worst Handled Characters In WWE NXT History

Not all NXT graduates end up with gimmicks as awesome as The Shield or The Wyatts.

NXT is considered by many wrestling fans the best television the WWE puts out on a weekly basis. The Shield, The Wyatt Family, Daniel Bryan, Bad News Barrett, the list goes on and on of WWE's biggest stars who have been a part of the show's history. Originally more akin to a gameshow than the more typical wrestling show we are given today, NXT is the place where the stars of tomorrow learn their trade. Some of those would be stars have not been so lucky. Some of them have been so horribly mismanaged either on NXT or when WWE attempts to call them up to the big stage of RAW or Smackdown that they never recover. This list is comprised of the biggest mistakes and failures in the history of the WWE brand NXT as well as transitions from that brand to the main roster. Everything from the current Developmental TV show with storylines all of its own to the earlier Reality Season format is up for grabs. With all due praise the show has clearly deserved there are some glaring opportunities that were not only missed but have been thrown away. Hopefully these mistakes won't be repeated but as a longtime fan I'm sure most if not all will be.
