This Wednesday night is the WWE Takeover: Rival special on WWE Network. It's a two hour event taped at Full Sail University in the Orlando, Florida area where NXT is based out of. As we have seen at other NXT "special events" they are usually full of great matches featuring WWE's stars of the future. It's interesting that this show is taking place two months after the last NXT special. The four NXT specials in 2014 were all about three months apart. By making it two months apart, perhaps WWE will be doing six NXT specials this year instead of four. That would be fine because they have so much talent that they can work. Doing it monthly would be too much, but every other month is a good move. Before we take a look at the show, Sami Zayn has an insane travel schedule this week. Zayn is overseas in Abu Dhabi doing promotional work for WWE's tour of the country later this week. Zayn will fly back to the United States on Wednesday and defend the NXT Championship against Kevin Owens at Takeover: Rival in Florida. After the match, he's flying back to Abu Dhabi for WWE's tour, which runs from Thursday to Saturday. Those are some really long flights. He should be fine because he's used to this lifestyle, but it's still pretty crazy. Every NXT special event feels like it could be better than the last.
