7 Most Likely Daniel Bryan Replacements To Be Next WWE Champion

This Monday's Raw will be highly anticipated due to the announcement concerning the future of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. With Daniel Bryan in a Pittsburgh hospital following neck surgery, we don't know how long he's going to be out. It could be one month. If it is then they'll probably keep the WWE Title on him. If it's two months then what? Having your champion miss two or three PPV events wouldn't be a good thing. They will probably take the title off him in that case and hope he can return by SummerSlam in August. It's a very real possibility that Bryan will be stripped of the WWE Championship due to injury. If that happens then WWE has to think of a way to put the title around the waist of another worthy contender. Injuries are a part of the business and we've seen many instances over the years where somebody had to lose a title because of injury. Guys like Edge, Batista and John Cena have lost titles due to injury. Last year at SummerSlam, Cena needed biceps surgery so he put Bryan over clean, which led to the heel turns of Triple H and Orton. If Cena was healthy would they have gone with that angle? Not sure. Bryan's injury is forcing WWE to make a tough decision. They have to listen to the doctors, listen to Bryan to see how he feels and try to come up with some sort of plan. Do we really need to see another title run for "abeyance" again? No thanks. There are plenty of choices that WWE can look to ranging from sure-fire Hall of Famers to men that haven't yet been the top guy before. Here's a look at some of the options that WWE should be considering.
