7 Reasons Finn Balor Is The Next WWE Mega-Star

The future is bright for 'The Real Rock 'n Rolla'.

Since Triple H gained more influence over the backstage workings of the WWE, one of the biggest compliments often thrown his way is the vastly improved state of NXT. The developmental roster is currently stronger than ever, with indie darlings such as KENTA, Kevin Steen, El Generico and PAC successfully repackaged and renamed without losing too much of their eye-catching originality. The prospect perhaps most tailor-made for success in the WWE is Fergal "Prince" Devitt, aka Finn Balor. At the age of 33, Balor is ready to step straight into the peak of his career and make an instant impression. With 8 years of experience in New Japan Pro Wrestling under his belt, the Irishman is also a star in Japan. He rose from humble beginnings to a status as one of the top heels in the company (and perhaps the most despised), enjoying a wildly successful - but sadly short-lived - run as figurehead of the dastardly Bullet Club stable. Eventually his ability caught the attention of the WWE, and he signed to their developmental program in 2014. Balor seems the complete package - arguably more than anybody else on the entire NXT roster - possessing all the tools necessary for becoming the next major superstar of the WWE. Here are seven reasons his rise to the top is all but inevitable.
