7 Reasons WWE's Only Choice Is To Turn Dean Ambrose Heel

It's time for the Lunatic Fringe to ditch the babyface act and become a slimy heel again.

Dean Ambrose has developed very well since turning face last year, propelling himself up the card (and even into occasional title contention) thanks to a series of crowd-winning performances and promos. He has used the opportunity to demonstrate his versatility as a performer, portraying a convincing badass anti-hero, willing to put his body on the line against friend or foe. With that in mind, the WWE absolutely must turn him heel in the very near future. As impressive as Ambrose has been as a babyface, a heel turn would make sense from a number of points of view...

7. They Need A Heel With Momentum

It could be argued that the only top level heel on the roster with any momentum is Seth Rollins. Huge crowd reactions have turned Lesnar into something of a pseudo-babyface (and his appearances are wisely kept sporadic), while Kevin Owens has yet to properly recover from his fall after losing to John Cena. Bray Wyatt has been stuck in a rut for a very long time now, drifting aimlessly from feud to feud with little rhyme or reason, while the decision to make Sheamus winner of the Money In The Bank briefcase has been met with bafflement. Even Rollins himself has suffered from weak booking, making him one of the most cowardly WWE Champions in recent memory. The promotion are desperately in need of a major heel with a head of steam already built up, and Dean Ambrose is the man who best fits the bill in this regard. A turn would see him become the biggest heel on the roster, giving a major boost not only to the man himself, but to the WWE landscape as a whole.
