7 Ups & 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (May 14)

6. The "Kabuki Warriors"

It's too early to write the Asuka/Kairi Sane tag team off, but the "Kabuki Warriors" name stinks. It's the kind of lazy, ham-fisted b*llocks Vince McMahon always seems to turn to and a continuation of the Viking Experience/Viking Raiders nonsense. You, dear viewer, are taken as an idiot, so they think they've got to bash you over the head until these ideas get through your big, fat, stupid skulls.

While "Kabuki" does feed into the more dramatic aspects of the wrestlers' gimmicks, this rebranding reeks of laziness. That new entrance theme sucks, too. Royally.
