Daniel Puder isn't a name that will be all too familiar to younger members of the WWE Universe, but fans of WWE's Ruthless Aggression may well be forgiven for rolling their eyes upon remembering the shoot fighter with bleached blonde hair. Puder is best known for winning the $1,000,000 Tough Enough competition in 2004, a competition that saw The Miz finish second, Ryback get noticed for the first time, and The Boogeyman get disqualified for lying about his age.

Puder only had three matches in WWE, none of which painted him in the best light. The first saw Puder answer Kurt Angle's open challenge, a challenge that would have seen Puder break Angle's arm had referee Jimmy Korderas not realised what was happening and counted a quick three on Puder. The Tough Enough contestant had Angle locked in a Kimura Lock, creating a very awkward situation for all involved.

Puder's second appearance was a Dixie Dog Fight (don't ask) against The Miz at Armageddon 2004, a match that Puder won. His third and final appearance saw him enter the 2005 Royal Rumble at number three. Puder spent a miserable four minutes in the ring, getting brutalised by veterans Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, and Hardcore Holly, before being dumped over the top by Holly.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
