7 WWE NXT Rivalries For Samoa Joe

There are plenty of great matchups for Samoa Joe in WWE.

The rumours of Samoa Joe joining World Wrestling Entertainment have been strong ever since he left TNA Wrestling a few weeks ago. There have been a number of different reports about his future with the latest buzz being that he could be WWE bound in a few months. We know that in the short term at least he's working for Ring of Honor since he was on their PPV on Sunday saying that he was going after the ROH World Title that he held over a decade ago. That ROH run is expected to only last a few months, though. A debut in WWE should follow soon after. Going to WWE really is the best option for Joe because he hasn't worked there as a full timer. Working a match on Jakked with Essa Rios in 2001 really doesn't count. Like all wrestlers, his dream is probably to work at a WrestleMania at least once so now is the best time to do it. Signing Samoa Joe would be great for WWE because he's a guy in his mid-30s that has been working regularly on television for over a decade, he's worked all over the world, he's been in all kinds of matches with different types of wrestlers and he could help younger guys out just by being in the ring with him. He's got a lot in common with some of the more big name NXT signings from the last few years. When Joe signs with WWE, the expectation is that he'd go to NXT. He likely wouldn't be there for long (maybe six months), but NXT is such a good show that he'd probably be okay with it. If he does go to NXT, who could he have feuds with? There are plenty of good choices for rivalries for Joe in NXT, so here's a look at those guys as well as some ideas they could use if they have those rivalries. Keep in mind that if he goes to WWE they would change his name, but for now we only know him as Samoa Joe.
