8 Reasons New Japan's Wrestle Kingdom 9 Is Must-Watch

If you haven't seen it already, you're doing yourself a disservice.

With Global Force Wrestling's presentation of New Japan Pro Wrestling's Wrestle Kingdom 9 event on pay-per-view taking place this past weekend, wrestling fans all over the world are rushing to discuss the event. It has received nearly universal praise from "marks" and "smarks" alike, whether they were veterans of watching New Japan (or any type of Puroresu), or if this was their initial experience with the product. Whether it was the new English commentary, done by Jim Ross and Matt Striker, which opened New Japan up to new fans that couldn't or wouldn't watch any Japanese wrestling in the past because they couldn't follow what was going on, or the incredible in-ring action pretty much happening from top to bottom, the show was firing on all cylinders. If you're someone who hasn't checked the show out yet, for one reason or another, this article will provide you with eight reasons to go out of your way and watch it. The show is still having replays airing on many pay-per-view providers, along with the other ways to watch wrestling events on the internet, so hopefully, this can help to take many of you off the fence about watching it so you can see why sites like the Wrestling Observer, PWInsider.com, PWTorch.com and many more are all praising the show and calling it the best wrestling event to take place in years.
