8 Reasons WrestleMania 32 Could Be The Worst Ever

Are we allowed to panic yet?

This time last year, we were hailing WrestleMania 31 as the most unpredictable incarnation of the event to be seen in years - a show which could have gone catastrophically wrong (and almost did), before WWE somehow pulled it out of the bag. As hard as the quality of last year's event was to predict, it's got absolutely nothing on 2016's spectacle in Dallas, Texas. While there's very little chance that the in-ring quality of WrestleMania 32 will be as poor as some of the earlier shows (I'm looking at you, 'Manias VIII and IX), several other factors could feasibly make it the most disappointing of the lot. Here's hoping WWE can rescue victory from the jaws of defeat, and provide us with the second surprisingly fantastic 'Mania in consecutive years. However, if our suspicions are correct the PPV could prove to be shambolic, as many are predicting. Here are the major reasons why.

8. It Can't Live Up To Recent 'Manias

One of the biggest obstacles for WrestleMania 32 to overcome is the simple fact that the last two have been fantastic. From top to bottom, WrestleMania XXX was an awesome card - and could even be remembered as one of the greatest in the history of the event - bookended by the tale of Daniel Bryan's eventual rise to the top and WWE World Heavyweight Championship win. 'Mania 31, although perhaps not as strong a show overall, unquestionably provided us with one of the most memorable and dramatic WrestleMania moments ever: Seth Rollins' cash-in during the Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns main event. That booking decision saved the show and helped avoid a controversial and seemingly inevitable Reigns victory (more on him later). However optimistically you look at this year's event, there's no denying it has a lot to live up to and will have to be some show to be compared favourably with the 2014 and 2015 version of the show.
