8 Things WWE Got Wrong At TLC 2017

Failing to prepare is preparing to fail: TLC was far from the best show of the year.

It was supposed to be a true night to remember in WWE for a number of reasons. For one, The Shield reunited to do battle against five of RAW's top heels. Well, four of RAW's top heels and the returning Kane, but Reigns, Ambrose, and Rollins nevertheless had a huge task ahead of them on Sunday night. Elsewhere, 'The Demon' Finn Bálor was going to come up against the scariest thing WWE could think of - Bray Wyatt in drag.

A viral condition that may or may not be mumps decided that the world needed to be spared these things, and major changes were made to WWE TLC. Kurt Angle, wrestling his first WWE match in 11 years, replaced Roman Reigns in the main event, and AJ Styles wrestled instead of Bray Wyatt against Finn Bálor. These changes provided WWE with a ready made excuse following the show, yet simultaneously made the card look a little more enticing.

WWE TLC proved to be one of the wackiest shows the company has put on all year. The main event was 35 minutes of entertaining garbage, and nothing on the card was 'worst of the year' awful. WWE made plenty of mistakes last night however, the biggest one being sending Jason Jordan to do the groceries...
