8 Things WWE Did Right At Money In The Bank

The champ is familiar, but the contract ladder match stole the show!

WWE.comWWE.comThe WWE's Money in the Bank pay-per-view provided us with several memorable moments thanks a fantastic contract ladder match and a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. John Cena's victory in the main event led to him becoming a World Champion in WWE for the 15 time in his career. It sounded as if WWE was ready to start labeling him as the "greatest champion in WWE history" at the end of the show, which is likely a tag line they're going to use in the build up to what should be a huge SummerSlam match against Brock Lesnar. That will take place after July's Battleground event, which is coming off like a secondary PPV sandwiched between two major ones. In addition to Cena's win, Seth Rollins was the victor in the contract ladder match. Heading into the match, Rollins seemed like the obvious winner. It was one of those things where WWE wanted us to think he was going to win and those of us that are long time viewers expected something else to happen. Ambrose was my pick, but he ended up getting stopped by Kane, who helped Rollins win. We also heard from Daniel Bryan on the Kickoff Show. His admission that his recovery from neck surgery is going slow was sad to hear. If he does need another surgery and misses six months or a year it would be a big blow to the WWE roster because of how great of a performer he is. Money in the Bank was an entertaining show full of some memorable moments. Here's a look at eight things WWE did right at Money in the Bank.
