After weeks of lackluster episodes focused on brand supremacy and fantasy warfare becoming real, Raw turned what could be a huge corner Monday night… or it could be a one-time deal, who knows right now?

But regardless, Monday Night Raw was an entertaining affair that featured solid in-ring action, good storytelling throughout the episode, a minimal amount of foolishness and a minimal amount of authority figure involvement. And all of that really showed.

We saw Chris Jericho chase the last title that has eluded him in his professional wrestling career – a fact that made for a more compelling storyline than many of the other title chases we’ve seen. We saw two title-holders becoming more and more desperate to hold onto their championships. We saw adultery used as a plot device – and work. And we saw rivalries renewed and the ups and downs of them.

All of this made for a Raw that provided WWE a platform to move ahead… if the company can build off of Monday. If not, let’s just enjoy what we got and be grateful. We’ll worry about next week next week.

Let’s take a look at what provided some entertaining moments Monday and what we could have done without. Let’s get to it…
