Another Vince Russo special was partnering diminutive manager Harvey Wippleman (formerly the handler of the likes of Sid and Kamala) with Bertha Faye, former WWE Women's Champion. The whole 'gag' was that Harvey was a small and slender man while Faye was a much larger woman and they would talk each other up as being the 'most beautiful' and 'strongest man' and so on.

The duo at least had some success, with Wippleman managing Faye to her first significant singles title. The pair wouldn't last, however, as Faye was released just a few months later. While everything was harmonious on-screen, things were a little less so off of it. As Wippleman told the Online World of Wrestling in 2008:

The Bertha Faye deal was Vinny Roo’s (Vince russo) idea. No, I was not having fun; don’t get me wrong, I didn’t mind pretending to be in love with a hideous creature - that’s business - I minded babysitting a smelly, alcoholic, argumentative, know-it-all person with no appreciation from her for anything.

As a couple, they didn't really do a great deal, and were just there primarily for people to make fun of. That they didn't get along backstage sometimes translated on television and it became clear that the decidedly weird duo wouldn't last.
