8 WWE Stars Sacrificed To Make Roman Reigns Look Strong

7. Big Show

What to do when your newly chosen babyface superstar isn't getting major babyface reactions? Why, put him up against a man no-one can truly cheer for of course! Whilst this plan would monumentally fail for World Wrestling Entertainment and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania this year, it did work to a degree back in late 2014/early 2015 when Reigns had a brief feud with Big Show.

Now, if you're going to sacrifice anyone in the hope of making Roman Reigns (or anyone else for that matter) look strong, Big Show is exactly who it should be. Show has been a wonderful servant to professional wrestling over the years, a guaranteed Hall of Famer, but in 2016 his only real role should be being picked up by people Michael Cole can't believe are picking up Big Show.

The current one on one record between the two reads as follows; Roman Reigns 34, Big Show 1. Show's victory coming on RAW in February 2015, thanks to interference from Seth Rollins, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
