9 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (Feb 8)

Will the remainder of the Shield implode? Does WWE remember there's a PPV in two weeks?

Just how stacked can the deck get against Roman Reigns on his clearly telegraphed march toward a WrestleMania victory over Triple H? And how many times can Kalisto and Alberto Del Rio trade the United States Championship back and forth before it is completely devalued and all of John Cena€™s hard work is undone? These seem to be the only questions that matter to WWE these days, if judging solely by matches currently booked for Fastlane in two weeks. Sure, there will have to be several more matches to fill out a PPV card, and there are some angles that are clearly moving in that direction. But you almost get the feeling that WWE writers are looking at a calendar and realizing that they have eight weeks until WrestleMania and are trying to stretch things out, rather than building aggressively toward the go-home PPV before Mania. But there is indeed Fastlane in two weeks, and Raw will attempt to get things back on track after ratings have declined the past two weeks. Viewership should be going up as Mania gets closer, not hitting record pre-Mania lows, in case you€™re one of the ones saying, €œEverything is fine with Roman Reigns as the focus of Raw!€ With that said, there still a lot going on and probably some good reasons to tune in (if nothing else out of morbid curiosity). So let€™s take a look at some of the big questions that needs answering on Monday Night Raw.

Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
