AEW All Out 2020 Expected To Top 100,000 PPV Buys

AEW's base remains strong despite difficult circumstances.

Early signs point towards AEW All Out 2020 hitting a pay-per-view buyrate of somewhere between 100,000 and 110,000, reports Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Meltzer's estimate is based on streaming figures from B/R Live and FITE.tv. AEW gets these totals through immediately and from them, it looks like All Out will hit a buyrate similar to February's Revolution show.

The range mentioned above would be roughly 10-15% down on Double Or Nothing 2020, which set the company record in May. All Out 2020 would either finish as the third or fourth biggest pay-per-view in AEW history.

If the estimates are accurate, it'll be another healthy number which proves the loyalty of AEW's base, 100,000+ of which are happy to fork out approximately $50 for a wrestling pay-per-view in a difficult economic climate. That the PPV is set to pull this kind of number despite a middling build, in the middle of a global health crisis, and without Cody, Mike Tyson, or the unique appeal of a Stadium Stampede-style bout, is encouraging.

While not one of AEW's most well-received shows, post-All Out excitement fed into the follow-up episode of Dynamite, which drew over 1 million viewers.
