The Long Island crowd was very vocal about the women's match on Raw, and Alexa wasn't having it.

After Becky Lynch retained her Raw Women's Championship at the Extreme Rules pay per view in Philadelphia, it was announced that a new challenger for Becky would be determined for SummerSlam on 11 August.

Last night on Monday Night Raw, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Natalya, and Carmella squared off in a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match to determine the new number one contender. The tie went on longer than anyone anticipated, which caused the crowd in attendance to hurl several chants that were loud enough for even those viewing at home to hear. The conclusion saw Natalya eliminating Alexa Bliss to pick up the victory.

"This is awful", "boring", "we want Sasha", and "let's go, Cena, Cena sucks," were just a few chants that echoed throughout the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island.

After the match, Alexa Bliss took to Twitter to respond to the chants:

Alexa's response is understandable, but the blame must be placed on the producer of this match, who restricted the women from doing their best with an unnecessarily long contest. The showcase is certainly welcome - but perhaps not when it ultimately detracts from the audience's investment.
