Alexa Bliss Suffering From Numbness In Left Arm

Worrying times for WWE's self-proclaimed 'Goddess'

Former WWE Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss was pulled from this week's Mixed Match Challenge, with Ember Moon taking her place as Braun Strowman's partner against Natalya and Kevin Owens.

The reason for this is simple: 'The Goddess Of WWE' is dealing with numbness in her left arm, and is currently only cleared for "minimal exertion," according to Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Bliss should still be able to appear on shows, but won't be competing any time soon. She has been removed from live event line-ups this weekend, and while there's currently no word on when she'll be allowed to get back in the ring, it looks like she'll be stuck in a non-wrestling role for the foreseeable future.

Meltzer writes that WWE will use the armbar Ronda Rousey applied to overcome Alexa at Hell In A Cell to explain her absence. There's no implication that 'Rowdy' actually caused the injury, though, and the affliction is likelier linked to spine or neck issues.

Though the severity is unknown, this is worrying news for Bliss regardless. Here's hoping she makes a complete, swift recovery, and is soon able to rejoin the Women's Title hunt.
