All Elite Wrestling Files For New Trademark

Is this the name of a new show?

According to PWInsider, All Elite Wrestling filed for a tantalising new trademark on 18 December. The term 'Fight for the Fallen' was submitted to the patent office, with a view for 'wrestling, music, iPPVs, and various merchandising purposes'. The most notable term amongst that lot is definitively 'iPPVs' - it sounds just about right for a show name, doesn't it?

AEW's latest trademark follows on from the slew of terms and logos the upstart company filed for back in November, including 'All Out', 'Double or Nothing', and surely the most exciting, 'Tuesday Night Dynamite'. All In producers Cody and The Bucks are said to be behind the embryonic organisation, apparently backed by the extremely deep pockets of billionaire sports impresario Shahid Khan.

There are no concrete details about All Elite Wrestling at present, though more news is expected to emerge in January. Watch this space.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
