PWInsider has provided a further update on the subject of WWE contacting former stars about returning ahead of next month's brand split. Rumoured names included Kurt Angle, Carlito, Goldberg and Rey Mysterio, and reports suggest that these would be long term returns as opposed to short term, with 2-3 year deals being offered.

Another name mentioned was Stevie Richards, but instead of returning as a full-time in-ring talent PWInsider are reporting that the former leader of Right to Censor will in fact return as a coach at the WWE Performance Center. In all the excitement of the draft and brand split the fate of NXT and the PC is still up in the air, with many names expected to be called up from the developmental brand.

Richards is undoubtedly a fine choice as coach at the PC. Whilst he never became the global megastar that some expected, the man who was touted as the next-Shawn Michaels nonetheless had a long and successful career working for all three of the big wrestling companies of the 90s. Those learning their craft at the PC will be sure to benefit from the teachings of Stevie.
