Former WWE superstar Big Cass suffered a seizure at the House of Hardcore event in Philadelphia last night.

Cass was set to perform a run-in during Tommy Dreamer's show, but suddenly collapsed during the intermission at around 10pm whilst speaking to a fan.

According to Wrestlezone's Bill Pritchard, who was attending the event, the room was immediately cleared as paramedics rushed to Cass' aid. Promoter Dreamer made a speech in the aftermath, offering Cass his prayers and insisting that the seizure was "not drug related."

Cass' former tag team partner Enzo Amore was quick to express his concern after learning about his ex-buddy's seizure. Though there had been some resentment between the pair dating back to Cass failing to finish a match after suffering his knee injury last autumn, there was no hint of animosity in Enzo's comments:

Eye witnesses noted that Cass was able to walk out of the arena before being whisked to hospital. We here at WhatCulture.com wish him a speedy recovery.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
