Big Show Injured At WWE SmackDown Tapings

Show injured his back during the dark main event against Daniel Bryan, though we don't know how severe it is.

The Big Show reportedly injured his back at Tuesday night's SmackDown tapings in Las Vegas. F4WOnline aren't sure on how severe the injury is but it's thought that it came during the dark main event match against Daniel Bryan when Show landed wrong and hurt his back. We should expect an update on this today, perhaps even an official WWE.com statement. Big Show's injury is the last thing the WWE needs right now. SmackDown is already suffering with the loss of Christian and Randy Orton (though both are due back in the next few weeks for the Royal Rumble) and Mark Henry has been noticeably protected for weeks with his groin injury that forced him to drop the WWE World Heavyweight Title at the TLC pay-per-view. We have no word yet on how Big Show's injury changes the Royal Rumble World Title program. Originally it was to be Daniel Bryan defending his title against Big Show and Mark Henry with Show and Bryan to do much of the work to get Henry through but if Show is ruled out, WWE may be reluctant to go with Bryan vs. Henry with the latter's condition.
