It looks like Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend' could challenge whoever is Universal Champion come the Hell in a Cell PPV in October, if the advertising material emanating from the show's venue is to be believed.

According to a premature Tweet posted by Sacramento, CA's Golden1 Center, Wyatt will challenge either Seth Rollins or Braun Strowman in a titular Hell in a Cell match:

Current Universal Champion Rollins is scheduled to defend his strap against Strowman at 15 September's Clash of Champions show. The pair - also the tag team champions - will be pulling double duty, as earlier in the night they'll face off against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode. The latter duo won a Tag Team Turmoil for the right to challenge for the doubles titles on this week's episode of Raw.

Bray Wyatt made his in-ring return under his 'Fiend' persona earlier this month at SummerSlam, sending Finn Bálor packing in short order. The re-packaged cultist has been one of the best aspects of WWE programming since the Firefly Fun House skits first began.

With any luck, a sudden promotion to the main championship picture won't result in Bray's momentum being suddenly halted.

Hell in the Cell takes place on 6 October. Stay tuned for more details as their emerge.
