Despite the fact that Brock Lesnar is currently in the midst of a slow build toward a confrontation with Bill Goldberg which is leading to a rematch between the two monsters at WrestleMania 33, "The Beast" has been used rather sparingly on Raw.

On the episode where Goldberg accepted Lesnar's challenge for the Mania bout, Brock, despite not being advertised, came out after the show went off the air to confront The Big Show, F-5 him and leave. The earned a tremendous pop from the Portland crowd but the point of the segment itself was rather baffling.

Lesnar only has a very limited amount of dates that WWE can use him for, and to waste one of those appearances on a dark segment that had no bearing on his big angle seemed like a monumental waste.

So of course they did it again.

At the conclusion of this week's Raw in Green Bay, Wisconsin, WWE ran the same exact angle by having Brock appear in a dark segment, F-5 Big Show and exit the arena. There's really only two ways to justify such a move:

1. They're using his rapid dominance of Big Show to try and reestablish him as a killer after the way Goldberg has treated him like a jabroni.

2. WWE is trying to create exclusive "moments" for the live audience so as to drive attendance to the shows.

The problem is that neither of these things are accomplished when the viewing audience isn't aware that they're happening. So then what was the reason for using Lesnar on the show? If you have an idea, please let us know in the comments.
