Brock Lesnar To Wrestle Bray Wyatt At WWE Roadblock

"The Beast" versus "The Eater of Worlds" at Toronto Network special.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Brock Lesnar will be taking on Bray Wyatt at WWE Roadblock, a WWE Network-exclusive event airing live next weekend. Heading into the Royal Rumble, it looked like Lesnar and Wyatt were headed for a collision course at WrestleMania. The Wyatt Family laid out Lesnar on the final episode of Raw before the Pay-Per-View, sparking speculation regarding WWE's booking direction. Sure enough, fuel was added to the fire at the Rumble - Lesnar eliminated Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, and Braun Strowman from the match, but when he squared off with Wyatt, the underlings rushed the ring and dumped Brock out. Most fans expected that The Wyatt Family would cost Lesnar victory in the main event of Fastlane, but WWE decided to go in a different direction, using the bout to add fire to a new feud between Lesnar and opponent Dean Ambrose. That match was made official for WrestleMania the following night on Raw. Brock Lesnar was originally scheduled to face Luke Harper at Roadblock. The Wyatt bout joins WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H versus Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns versus Sheamus as confirmed matches for the show. WWE Roadblock airs live on the WWE Network on Saturday, March 12 at 8:00 PM EST.
