Cesaro & Dolph Ziggler Could Leave WWE Soon?

The Swiss Superman and The Show Off may not be around for long.

We've seen Cesaro visibly frustrated about his push on WWE TV, and Dolph Ziggler has believed he's deserved better for years. Perhaps they may both decide they've had enough.

The Wrestling Observer has reported that Cesaro's contract may be coming up with the company "soon", which is why he may have been placed in a tag team with Sheamus. That way they don't have to give him a big singles push, just in case he decides not to renew.

In other news from The Observer, Ziggler is said to have about a year left on his current deal. While it seemed obvious that he would win the Title vs. Career match coming up with Miz, that may not be the case. WWE may go the route of having him lose, where he'll then take a lengthy break from the company and later make a triumphant return with a new gimmick.

Both of these news items are interesting, and it's even more intriguing with the way things are playing out in TNA. You can imagine that Cesaro and Ziggler would both make decent money on the Impact roster under the right ownership, and then would also be free to take independent bookings and perhaps make close to what they do now in WWE. At least part of that option may no longer be on the table.

Both men are certainly talented, but they're also both in their mid 30's and are likely to never get that true shot at the top in WWE at the pace they're currently at. If they want to prove they deserve better, they may have to follow the lead of Cody Rhodes and simply walk away.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW.
