Monday Night Raw has been struggling as of late to keep their three hour shows from badly dragging. But with the Cruiserweight division returning tonight, the show should get a lot more interesting.

The company announced 10 names from the CWC tournament that would be a part of Raw over a week ago, and a few of those names are expected to show up tonight. PWInsider has revealed that Brian Kendrick, Gran Metalik, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann, Lince Dorado and Noam Dar are all expected to appear, as is current Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins.

While Jack Gallagher's name wasn't announced, PWInsider also reported that management is very high on his potential, and the British star is set to receive a big push.

Rumors are also going around that Chris Jericho will be involved in a big segment to help legitimize the division right off the bat. That would be a smart move, as he was one of the most beloved Cruiserweight competitors that WCW ever had and he could deliver a classic segment with them.

Hopefully Raw gives these guys some singles matches tonight so they can get across their moves and personalities, and don't just plan on throwing everyone out there in an X Division-like weekly multi-man spotfest match.

The talent is absolutely there, so let's hope that Vince McMahon's mindset has changed over the years about smaller competitors, and doesn't end up feeding them all to Braun Strowman over the next few months.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW.
