Chris Jericho has filed a trademark application for 'Jeri-Show' with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Filed on 13 February, the application is currently being processed ahead of being examined by an assigned attorney. Jericho is seeking to lock 'Jeri-Show' up for the following purpose:-

GS0411Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainers; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes

The trademark, of course, refers to the former AEW World Champion's old tag team with Paul 'Big Show' Wight. The duo first teamed together in July 2009, when Show replaced the injured Edge as Jericho's tag team partner, defeating Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase to retain the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions. That reign lasted until December, when Jeri-Show were unseated by Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

The duo went their separate ways after Jericho was sent from Raw to SmackDown in January 2010. Despite this, Wight and Jericho have reunited several times over the years, most notably in January 2016, when Show saved his old partner, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose from The Wyatt Family.

Jericho was a day-one AEW signing in January 2019. Wight, meanwhile, has been with the Tony Khan-helmed group since February 2021, working primarily as a commentator. Recently, the 51-year-old talked up the prospect of an in-ring comeback, telling Metro he was planning to wrestle again in March:-

“You know, there’s been some setbacks personally. I mean, I’ve had a couple of injury setbacks, had to get a knee replaced in August. That knee was bad for 12 years, so it could’ve gone any day! It’s like kind of like that tire on your car that you know you should change but keep driving anyway. But we’re good now, and hopefully we’ll be back in the ring in March. Everything’s on schedule, so we’re looking good!”

Wight last wrestled in March 2022, defeating enhancement talent Austin Green on Dark: Elevation.
