Chris Jericho's WWE Return Talks Break Down

Chris Jericho's expected WWE return has hit a stumbling block, according to f4wonline.com. Negotiations between WWE and Jericho had recently begun for a return building into next year's Wrestlemania but something couldn't be agreed upon (it'll either be over money, the amount of dates or his opponent/comeback storyline) and the talks have now fallen through. We can probably presume the talks broke down some weeks ago, probably the day that Jericho tweeted that he would never wrestle for the WWE ever again. Whilst we have heard recently that those internally still expect Jericho to make a return soon (and of course this whole talks breaking down story could be too swerve people expecting him back at the Rumble), the reality seems to be that Jericho and the WWE couldn't come to an agreement. Y2J had been one of the opponents who many had claimed could have been CM Punk's opponent at Wrestlemania 28 and may have been a legit possibility to win January's Royal Rumble.
