CM Punk Auditions For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2

Who could he play?

CM Punk has an ongoing comic book run with Marvel's Drax, not to mention training for his upcoming UFC debut, but despite what amounts to two full time gigs, he's not slowing down, letting slip this past week that he had recently auditioned for a role in Michael Bay's second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. The film, which is already shooting, features Casey Jones, Rocksteady and Bebop, as well as the returning Megan Fox as April O'Neil. Punk let the news slip during his appearance at C2E2. As a comic fan, he'd no doubt love to be involved in another big franchise, though fans are generally split (at best) on anything Michael Bay touches. That said, just who Punk would be playing with filming already underway remains a mystery. Some are speculating that it could be a voice role or mo-cap of the aforementioned henchmen Rocksteady and Bebop, which, admittedly, could be pretty cool - but does Punk have the voice talent for it? Yes, he's good on the mic, but pulling off one of those two characters requires more than just delivery but the ability to change once's voice to sound like the character (or what fans would presume the character would sound like). Either way, it's pretty cool news, and comes just as some of the first shots of the new movie have been released online, including Megan Fox with a blonde wig as April with a schoolgirl look.

Punk didn't state what the timeframe would be should he land the role, and it's certainly not set in stone - but it seems he has hopes of following the likes of The Rock and Batista over to Hollywood.
