CM Punk has been using his Twitter to promote the WWE merchandise of his wife AJ Lee. This marks the first occasion that any mention of WWE has been made on Punk's social media since his January walk-out. What is also interesting, is that AJ Lee is now wanting to go by the name AJ Brooks. She has set up a website called AJ-Brooks.com and Punk was promoting the WWE merchandise on her site. He retweeted the following from AJ's @AJBrooksCom twitter account - "Exclusive Pets for Vets Auction - Ring worn/autographed *OFFICIAL* WWE Licensed AJ LEE T-Shirt http://aj-brooks.com/?p=856 @wweajlee" Will this cause any issue for WWE? Possibly. AJ is well known and marketed as 'AJ Lee', so trading products under the 'AJ Brooks' name is a curious move from WWE's point of view. This further establishes her as someone who is increasingly distant from the WWE. The introduction of the new name could be her trying to establish a life and brand beyond WWE. AJ Brooks is most likely what she'd wrestle as if she became an indie worker. There's a chance that could happen in 2015, as she's an outsider in the WWE locker room and is proving a constant reminder of CM Punk in WWE live shows. She must also harbour some personal desire to spend more time with her husband. Take for example right now, she's over in the UK on tour and he's at home doing nothing. She's adopted the Brooks name and her marriage is obviously hugely important to her. It will be interesting to see how 2015 plays out - the WWE may not suit her or her employer.
