Cody Rhodes Looking To Pursue Acting Roles
The American Nightmare seems to be eyeing up Hollywood.
Cody Rhodes is interested in following in the footsteps of the likes of The Rock, John Cena, and Batista, with the former AEW EVP looking at pursuing an acting career.
That's according to a recent report from Fightful Select, with it being noted how The American Nightmare took some meetings whilst he was in Los Angeles for 'Mania 39 regarding a few film & TV parts.
It was even said that Rhodes was linked to or perhaps interested in bringing the character of Johnny Cage to life in the Mortal Kombat sequel that is current being planned, a part that his fellow WWE star The Miz has publicly expressed some interest in.
Along with the Mortal Kombat talk, it was also noted how the possibility of Rhodes popping up in an upcoming Zelda adaptation had been discussed, too.
This wouldn't be the first time the WrestleMania 39 main eventer has tried his hand at the ol' acting stuff, of course. Rhodes has appeared in both the Arrow and Warehouse 13 shows over the years, and also worked on unscripted TV series such as The Go Big Show, Rhodes To The Top, and WAGS Atlanta.
But it now looks as though Rhodes is very much interested in adding a few more credits to that acting CV in the coming years. So, watch this space.
