Could THIS WWE Star Be Next In Line For A Monster Push?

Top rising star set to shine in bigger WWE role?

Ali could be the next wrestler to get strapped to a rocket with a monster WWE push.

This is according to Fightful, who have reported that "there could be plans in the works" for the former 205 Live man who has seemingly won over a number of WWE's most important backstage figures in recent weeks.

The writeup points to Ali's recent King of the Ring match with Elias in particular, noting that Eric Bischoff and Vince McMahon both personally congratulated the 33-year-old for his efforts in that bout, with Kevin Dunn also impressed. On top of this, Elias has come in for praise for being "well-liked and easy to work with."

If accurate, this won't be the first time a major Ali push has reportedly been in the works. He was almost thrust to the forefront on SmackDown earlier this year and only lost momentum when he was injured prior to Elimination Chamber 2019, allowing Kofi Kingston to take his spot and, effectively, later become WWE Champion. That isn't to say Ali would've enjoyed the same push, though he did compete for the belt at Fastlane in March.
