Dana White Talks Battles With Vince McMahon And UFC Vs WWE

UFC president explains his recent criticism of pro wrestling.

UFC President Dana White has explained his feelings on WWE and Vince McMahon. White caused controversy recently, when he tweeted about WWE being "fake s***." He has now clarified his comments, in an interview with the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show he said "Everybody is really classy and everybody€™s really cool. My wrestling thing was just a response to an idiot on social media that was talking smack." €œI€™ve had my, you know, my battles with Vince McMahon behind the scenes with some stuff that we've worked on but I respect all the guys in the WWE." He went on to say how many WWE guys attend UFC shows, and how he's never met a bad guy from WWE. It was interesting to hear about the potential friction with Vince on stuff that they've worked on. Could White be on about Ronda Rousey's role at WrestleMania 31, did that cause some heat? Or, is White on about WWE wanting to co-promote Brock Lesnar in 2011? Whatever the situation, White and McMahon are mostly on good terms. They are basically in the same industry, doing very similar jobs, and they do communicate from time to time. The wrestling world massively over reacted to White's previous comments about WWE being fake. The UFC promoter was merely responding to an over zealous WWE fan criticising UFC pay per view prices.
