After not appearing on last week's episode, Drew McIntyre is officially set to make his return to Monday Night Raw.

The former WWE Champion lost his belt to The Miz after succumbing to a sudden attack from Bobby Lashley and Money in the Bank cash-in. This went down moments after successfully defending his title in the Elimination Chamber last Sunday. WWE revealed during last night's edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX that he will finally address this shocking turn of events on Monday night. It has also been noted that McIntyre was indeed present backstage during last week's Raw, but was not utilised.

Elsewhere on this week's Raw, Bobby Lashley will be challenging The Miz for the aforementioned title he helped the 'Awesome One' obtain just under a week ago. Perhaps McIntyre will make his presence known during that highly anticipated encounter, what with both men involved being the reason for his lack of world title currently. Or maybe the 'Scottish Psychopath' will resume hostilities with former pal Sheamus coming into Fastlane.

It's still massively unclear what the plans are for McIntyre at both Fastlane and WrestleMania 37, but very few would likely argue with the prospect of finally seeing 'The Chosen One' crowned WWE Champion in front of a live audience at this year's 'Show of Shows'.
