Emmalina Finally Debuting On WWE Raw Next Week

The longest makeover in recorded human history is almost complete.

Emmalina Raw

Four months: that's how long WWE have been trolling fans with the apparent "makeover of Emma to Emmalina."

The Aussie was last seen on WWE Raw back in May 2016, when she and the debuting Dana Brooke assaulted Becky Lynch backstage. News broke one week later that Emma had injured her back during a live event, and we've been awaiting her return ever since.

The first Emmalina vignette aired on October 3rd, 2016, but it looks like the most protracted repackaging in WWE history is finally coming to a close. WWE announced on last night's Raw that Emma will finally return as Emmalina on next week's show from Las Vegas, and are also advertising the comeback on Twitter:-

Is the saga finally over? It's hard to tell, as WWE did the exact same thing by promising her appearance on a December episode of Raw, only for her to not show up. Dave Meltzer recently called the angle "a running joke," and there's every chance that this is just another step in one of WWE's biggest recent troll jobs.

Regardless of WWE's plans for Emmalina, Raw's women's division could use a new face or two, so here's hoping the makeover is finally complete.
