Has WWE Leaked Final Elimination Chamber Contestant?

Company lets slip on website.

Elimination Chamber Spoiler
WWE.com

It seems that WWE may have accidentally showed their final hand for 25 February's men's Elimination Chamber match, thanks to a misplaced image on the company's website.

Reddit user BBQJackson spotted the possible gaffe on WWE.com, which displayed Finn Bálor occupying the final slot in the bout. As far as television is concerned, this spot is still up for grabs, with the Irishman set to to duke it out for the privilege with Bray Wyatt, Apollo Crews, and Matt Hardy this Monday on Raw.

Bálor is widely tipped to emerge from the fatal four-way victorious, as his main-event rehabilitation continues after a strong showing at the Royal Rumble (though obviously, he'd enter the pod as fodder for presumed eventual winner Roman Reigns). WWE absolutely hate seeing cats escape their generally well-tied bags, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they'll switch up tomorrow's outcome to avoid predictability. Never mind about the bigger picture!

The offending image was quickly yanked from WWE's website, but thankfully the diligent sleuth who found it took a screenshot for posterity, which we've gratefully nabbed (see above). Tune in tomorrow night to see if this herring is the real deal, or redder than Eva Marie.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
