How AEW Will Deliver The Biggest (And BEST) Wrestling Show EVER In 2024

AEW needs to go All In on their biggest show of the year in 2024...

Just four years into their existence, All Elite Wrestling pulled off something rather incredible last August.

Not only did Tony Khan have the guts to book London's Wembley Stadium for the second-ever All In event, his company only went and crammed a whopping 70,000-80,000+ people (depending on which source you believe) into that gorgeous venue.

Speaking as someone who was lucky enough to be stood on the ground that historic night, the word "surreal" doesn't do justice to the overwhelming feeling of taking in a wrestling show of this size that didn't fall under the WWE banner.

If you'd have told this person in early 2019 that they'd be screaming "A-E-W!" at the top of their lungs in the middle of the stadium where many an iconic final and concert had occurred over the years, they'd have chuckled right in your silly face.

And August 27, 2023 was yet another memorable night to add to Wembley's stacked collection.

It was an evening which contained the final All Elite match for a certain CM Punk as he battled against old rival Samoa Joe in a Meltzer-rated 3.5-star classic. FTR & The Young Bucks wrote another thrilling chapter into their epic rivalry. Hometown hero Will Ospreay gifted All Elite fans a world class display against Chris Jericho, and his fellow Brit Saraya even lifted gold. Two best pals also clashed in a main event worthy of closing out the biggest show in company history.

But for all of those wonderful and important moments in-between the ropes, an event heavily billed as 'The Biggest Event in Wrestling History' still didn't end up feeling quite as magical as it should have, did it?

There's a number of reasons why this was unfortunately the case, with many of them being touched upon and explored here. However, rather than just dwell on the mistakes of the past and the way last year's All Elite Wembley experience didn't quite live up to expectations, TK's promotion now has the chance to learn from these errors in 2024.

Again, make no mistake, that late summer wrestling festival definitely wasn't a complete and utter bust by any means. Thanks to behind-the-scenes chaos overshadowing the action, a number of adored legends not being booked in the matches they should have, and a few other ill-advised calls, though, All In 2023 will go down in wrestling history as a good but not undeniably great event.

So, how exactly can AEW actually deliver on a promise that wasn't entirely kept last year, then? Well, for one thing...
