With the WWE WrestleMania XL card very much taking shape, there's now an update on how many matches will take place across this two-day extravaganza.

As per the ever-reliable @WrestleVotes, the current plan is for four more 'Mania matches to be announced, rounding the Premium Live Event out with 14 contests, with seven matches taking place on each day.

While it's not known what day the bulk of these matches will take place on right now, the WrestleMania XL card currently reads:

- Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes: Night 2 Main Event

- Roman Reigns & The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins: Night 1 Main Event to determine whether the Night 1 match will be contested under Bloodline Rules or if the Bloodline is barred from ringside

- World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre: Night 2

- World Women's Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch

- WWE Women's Champion Iyo Sky vs. Bayley

- WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther vs. Sami Zayn

- WWE United States Champion Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens

- Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & Damian Priest vs. Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano vs. Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston vs. R-Truth & The Miz vs. TBC vs. TBC in a six-pack ladder match

- Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso

- LA Knight vs. AJ Styles

As for what other matches could be added to WrestleMania XL, one has to imagine the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles will be defended in some form or fashion, even if Asuka - one half of the current champs - is potentially injured. The ongoing issues between Liv Morgan and Nia Jax could lead to those two locking horns at 'Mania, while Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar seem destined to do battle at the Showcase of the Immortals, and Andrade El Idolo and Dominik Mysterio are another two who might be an option. There also has to be some sort of endpoint for the ongoing, drawn-out beef between The Pride and The Final Testament.

Of course, there's also the prospect of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal or a similar match for the women's roster, but as it stands, other notable names not on the WrestleMania XL card include Bianca Belair, Naomi, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Solo Sikoa, Chad Gable, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, Bron Breakker, Dragon Lee, and the looming large figure of Jade Cargill.

Emanating from Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field, WWE WrestleMania XL takes place on 6 and 7 April.
