Hulk Hogan Rules Out WWE WrestleMania 32 Return

Hulkamania won't be running wild.

Hulk Hogan has ruled out a return at WWE WrestleMania 32. There had been speculation that WWE were going to bring him back for the April 3rd event, with industry insider Bryan Alvarez commenting that he was hearing the rumour everywhere. Dave Meltzer added that he wouldn't rule out WWE doing such an angle. However, Hogan has now moved to kill the story. He commented on Twitter "I don't work for @WWE anymore and I have not had a conversation with anyone about WM, I'll be there in Spirit." He added "I have not talked to anybody since the WWE fired me my brother. At this moment I'm not coming back." Could this just be Hogan doing a swerve, to then set up a huge surprise that he and WWE have worked out? Probably not. Hogan is likely telling the truth on this one, he won't be coming back for WrestleMania 32. WWE are thought to be staying away from him until his controversy with Gawker is resolved. That's only going to trial in the weeks after Mania, and things could again get ugly. Only once all of that is resolved, will WWE perhaps think about opening a dialogue with him about a return. Triple H has commented that a comeback could happen further down the line, so it is certainly possible that Hulkamania could run wild later in 2016. It would be a story of redemption, the kind of publicity angle that could suit WWE. As for Hogan, he would jump at the opportunity to go back. He's constantly put over his desire to return.
