Hulk Hogan Set For Big WWE TV Role Ahead Of WrestleMania 36?

Speculation suggests The Hulkster could return to WWE in a big way.

Hulk Hogan has made a handful of WWE appearances since returning to the company's good books last year, and this may go to the next level if, as expected, the New World Order are inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2020.

When talking about potential inductees on a recent episode of PW Insider's Elite Audio show, Mike Johnson noted that "it's in Tampa, which is Hulk Hogan country, so the nWo makes sense," though he conceded that he "hasn't heard any definite names at this juncture."

Not that this has stopped the rumour mill from whirling out of control, though: there's now heavy speculation that 'The Hulkster' could mount a major TV return ahead of the induction.

This would likely prove divisive. You'd never tell it from watching the carefully-edited network upload, but Hogan received a decidedly mixed reaction when introduced by Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 35. He, like many of his fellow legends, played only a limited role on the recent Raw Reunion, and WWE have been wise to keep his post-return appearances brief to avoid prolonged negativity.

A pinch of salt should be taken here as it's all speculative. Still, it isn't hard to imagine Vince McMahon bringing Hogan back to TV before 'Mania 36.
