Hulk Hogan To Appear On WWE Raw Tonight?
Hulkster spotted in Miami ahead of show.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Hulk Hogan has been spotted alongside his wife in Miami, FL. It may very well prove a coincidence - after all, Hogan is a Florida resident - but WWE just happen to be presenting Raw from The Magic City this evening, sparking speculation that he could be in-line for a big on-screen return.
Hogan was brought in from the cold by the company earlier this month, after being exiled when a private video emerged portraying the wrestler uttering racial slurs. He was reintroduced to the current locker-room prior to the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on 15 July, personally apologising to each and every one of WWE's employees for his bigoted remarks. All this was filmed, you know, for maximum sincerity.
Not everybody on WWE's roster has been enamoured by Hogan being brought back into the fold, with Mark Henry noting that black members of the roster are split on the move. Notably, The New Day made a collective social media post criticising Hogan's lack of real compunction, which was subsequently supported by Titus O'Neil.
WWE fans have been similarly divided on the issue. As a native Floridan, and a resident of Miami, the city is perhaps one of the few where Hogan may be guaranteed a universally positive reaction. If WWE do plan to put The Hulkster back on television, this may be the best place to do it.
In all likelihood, Hogan won't be appearing on Raw tonight, but get ready for this to become a recurrent weekly theme until he finally shows up in a WWE ring once more...
