Jake "The Snake" Roberts' Health Continues To Improve

Jake Roberts harrowing ordeal isn't over yet, but he continues to battle through.

The wrestling world has been concerned for Jake €œThe Snake€ Roberts ever since news broke of his admittance to a Las Vegas area hospital. Since then, updates have continued to come in -- most of which have been very positive. Roberts was diagnosed with double pneumonia and fluid in his lungs following a scary flight to Las Vegas, Nevada. Jake began to experience difficulty breathing and severe tightness in his chest during the plane ride and was subsequently taken to the hospital. Sinn Bodhi -- formerly known as Kizarny in the WWE -- has been with Jake through much of the ordeal. Roberts was flying to Vegas to compete for Bodhi€™s Freakshow Wrestling promotion. The eccentric former WWE superstar has been providing updates and details on Jake€™s condition throughout the week. It was reported yesterday that Roberts had been sedated and put on a ventilator, as he was not taking in enough oxygen. The lack of oxygen intake was likely due to the pneumonia and fluid in his lungs. Bodhi is now reporting that Jake is doing much better than expected on the ventilator system and has been making fast progress with his breathing treatments. Speculation points to Jake possibly being off the ventilator in just a few days€™ time. Bodhi further added that Roberts continues to be in relatively good spirits. Bodhi said that he was joking and ribbing Jake, when he was awake for a brief period. He asked the doctor if he €œcould give him fake boobs or at least a face transplant.€ Bodhi then said that Roberts responded with a smile and by giving him the finger, which Bodhi states, €œmeans he€™s feeling better!€ As usual, we will continue to provide any and all updates on Jake €œThe Snake€ Roberts€™ condition as more information becomes available. Wrestling fans the world over are surely hoping for Jake€™s health to return to normal, and the reports of his improvement are encouraging.
