Following Jeff Hardy’s arrest this past weekend, new details have now emerged on the Charismatic Enigma’s latest run in with the law.

For those who missed it, Hardy was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for public intoxication during the early hours of Saturday, July 13th. The 41-year-old was released later that day after posting a bond in the $200 region.

With TMZ having received access to the police report this incident, we now know that the three-time WWE Champion was actually found passed out in public stairwell before he was arrested. Smelling of alcohol, Hardy admitted to police that he had been drinking vodka.

This new information also clarifies that the bond paid was actually for $153, and that the misdemeanour charge is not one that he will be convicted for or one that will appear on his criminal record.

At present, Jeff Hardy is out of action after undergoing knee surgery in May. From initial reports, Hardy is expected to miss up to nine months of in-ring action.

For his part, Jeff has yet to make a public statement on this latest brush with the law – the last of his several arrests coming in March 2018 after he was found to be driving while impaired – and the WWE has simply pushed the official line of Jeff Hardy being responsible for his own actions.
