And it's one he can just about pull off!

John Cena finally debuted the 'sixth move of doom' he's been 'ironically'* teasing for some weeks during his big return to the ring at a WWE house in Shanghai today.

During a six-man tag team match involving himself, Bobby Lashley, and Finn Bálor opposite Elias, Jinder Mahal, and Baron Corbin, Cena pulled out his new manoeuvre, which hilariously* turned out to be a punch to the face. Comedy. Gold.

Before unleashing his "lightning fist", Cena, currently sporting a fairly terrible haircut, pulled up the not-so-dreaded 'X' sign, in clear reference to the movie 'Project X' he has been filming in China. In the movie, Cena, an ex-Marine, teams up with 64-year old Jackie Chan to thwart oil thieves in the Middle East. They're the original odd couple!

Cena first began teasing a new finisher back in August. It was clear even then he was taking the p*ss, though the joke was on him in drawing attention to his limited arsenal and repeated failures at any attempts to innovate it.

Before his bout in China, the Place-running Face had not stepped in the ring since his greatest hits compilation opposite Triple H in Saudi Arabia. He's scheduled to go through the motions once more at Melbourne's Super Show-Down this October.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
