John Cena Injured Heading Into WrestleMania 30?
The latest Wrestling Observer Radio show speculates that John Cena could be working injured right now. Host Bryan Alvarez alongside Dave Meltzer noted that either Cena's shoulders have something wrong, or he's been over-training by lifting too much weight in the gym. This became apparent during Cena's match with Luke Harper during Raw from Brooklyn, New York last night. Cena appeared to very stiff and limited in his movement from the shoulders. Dave Meltzer described his performance as "Really bad. Something is going on with his shoulders, he can not throw a punch to save his life now. His timing was terrible, he can usually have an exciting match but this was terrible." Host Bryan Alvarez then noted that Cena has years of wear on his body. If it isn't an injury, the other issue this could be for Cena is over-training. He is infamous for lifting very large weight loads and sometimes tweets pictures / videos of himself lifting freakishly unnatural sizes in the gym. Meltzer speculates this could be a factor in Cena's physical limitation right now. "Something is wrong with the way he's training, he could train much lighter and have a good physique, ever since he came back from the triceps surgery his work has gone. "They need to re-evaluate his training if its making his shoulders so stiff." Whether it is indeed an injury or over-training remains to be seen. One thing for sure is that Cena shows no sign of letting up, regardless of condition he will enter into battle with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 30. Therein he finds another problem Wyatt the heel is getting cheered to an embarrassing and awkward degree.
