John Cena Is Back Training In The Gym

Early WWE return on the cards?

https://twitter.com/JohnCena/status/691713839457509376 John Cena is back training in the gym, posting an image to Twitter of Hard Knocks South in Tampa, Florida with the caption "Hello old friend. Let's dance! @HardNocksSouth #nevergiveup." Cena only had his shoulder surgery on January 7, so to be back lifting weights so soon is impressive. He's famed for fast recovery times, and this early indication is a positive one. Maybe he really could make it back before SummerSlam, and even WrestleMania can't 100% be ruled out. You can bet a man as driven as Cena is still gunning for it. His "#nevergiveup" statement is a shoot for him. Still, the severity of the shoulder injury and his age point to a recovery time that should be in the region of six to nine months. Maybe Cena was just back doing some light weights and cardio. The gym is his passion and just getting in for a light work out would've made him happier. Ironically, it is believed that too much gym work may have been a factor in his shoulder problem. He'd often post pictures of himself lifting heavy weights, and it is that sort of olympic style weight lifting which some insiders believe could be causing the raft of shoulder injuries in WWE.
