John Cena Possibly Retaining US Title At WWE Hell In A Cell
Working beyond Sunday?
John Cena is possibly going to retain the United States Championship at WWE Hell In A Cell. This is despite reports indicating that he'll be leaving WWE for two months after this Sunday. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said he wouldn't be that surprised if Cena does walk out of Hell In A Cell as Champion. However, what could happen, is Cena ends up working the Raw show the next night. It would be an extra date, and maybe he'd drop the belt on that show. Everyone had been expecting him to drop the belt at Hell In A Cell, but it would be a neat twist for him to retain and then lose it the next night. The other option would be WWE just leaves the belt on him, even with his two month absence coming up. If Brock Lesnar can have the WWE Championship without even appearing on television, then there's no real reason why Cena shouldn't have the US belt. Still, it does seem more likely that he'll be dropping the belt. This is an opportunity for WWE to get someone else over in his absence.
